2003 Dec 16 | Infineon Raceway

My second track day on the RR (and 4th overall) took place at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, CA on Dec 16, 2003. A tight, technical track that was oodles of fun. Big elevation changes. And with the AMA track configuration, plenty of challenging hairpins, chicanes, and decreasing radius turns. Yummy.

Unfortunately, all the photos here are at Turn 2. (I only ran a half-day, and the track photographer didn't start moving around until after I left.) It's an uphill off-camber turn, and was probably one of my favorites. (Strangely, and illogically, some of my favorite turns here and at Thunderhill are off-camber. Go figure.)
